Monuments

The “Monuments” series explores the origins of first landscapes created by the battle of polar environmental forces. It simulates the act of lava battling its way from the core as it breaks the earth’s surface, when it finally succumbs to its solid state through the energy exchange with an outside environment. The resulting sculpture stands a visual monument to this grand physical struggle—once destructive matter bearing new life.
